What is the lifetime of a restored marble floor?
There is no exact formula, but obviously the less traffic and consistent floor maintenance practices are important factors.

How is marble formed?
Marble is a result of high temperatures and extreme pressure on limestone within the earth. This process produces the various crystalline structure and color and veining.  Commercially speaking, any stone that will take a polish with the exception of granite is referred to as marble.
